Places to stay, eat, drink, shop, and visit in Douglas County qualify for free web listings on explorelawrence.com. Take control of your web listings by using the Partner Portal to update images, descriptions, social media links, and amenities. The listings on explorelawrence.com are automatically uploaded to the Kansas Tourism Division website (TravelKS.com) and on a touchscreen kiosk located at our Visitors Center.
FREE EVENT LISTINGS
The Calendar of Events on explorelawrence.com is the top-viewed page on the site behind the home page. In addition to ensuring your events are seen by this active and engaged audience, the staff at eXplore Lawrence uses the Calendar of Events as the resource for sharing information at our Visitors Center, and through our social and other marketing channels. Events listed are automatically uploaded to our touchscreen kiosk located in the Visitors Center.

BROCHURE DISTRIBUTION
The Lawrence Visitors center will display brochures, rack cards, and flyers from Lawrence and Douglas County lodging, dining, and shopping establishments as well as local recreation, attractions, and events.
FEATURED GUEST
Get some one-on-one interaction with visitors by spending a day or a few hours in the Lawrence Visitors Center. You will have the opportunity to set up a table inside or outside the Visitors Center and hand out swag, coupons, samples, brochures, etc...
TOURISM AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
The Tourism Ambassador Program provides locals and staff at hospitality businesses with the knowledge and resources needed to make a positive impact on the Lawrence visitors' experience.
The 2-hour class consists of information about how eXplore Lawrence attracts visitors and events to our city and the importance of tourism to the local economy, local facts and trivia, and a tour of the hosting facility. Each class is hosted at a different Lawrence attraction.
Once completed, the new Ambassador is awarded an eXplore Lawrence pin and walks away equipped with information to share with visitors to Lawrence. Ambassadors are invited to attend the tours at all future classes.
PARTNER REFERRALS
Our Sales Department regularly receives inquiries and assists event and group tour planners in finding venues, facilities, services, and accommodations. Partners benefit from referrals and other Sales Department services such as hosting site visits, preparing proposals, presentations, and much more.
MEDIA LEADS AND REFERRALS
eXplore Lawrence answers media inquiries from writers and hosts travel influencers throughout the year. Partners benefit from being included in these inquiries and influencer trips.
EXCLUSIVE COMMUNICATIONS
eXplore Lawrence sends a monthly Lawrence Tourism Industry update to partners with information about upcoming opportunities, announcements, articles, and more. As a partner, you will also receive Event Alerts before large-scale events that will bring extra visitors to Lawrence take place so you can be prepared.
EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
eXplore Lawrence occasionally hosts educational opportunities for partners, including tourism summits, webinars, Red Cross First Aid and CPR, and other workshops.
